Privacy Policy — Had it?

The short version

Had it? collects nothing about you. Your items, photos, and notes never leave your device. The only network activity is Apple's own purchase system, which we don't see and don't control.

Privacy tier: 1 — Local-first

Every Tidy App declares one of three tiers, and the tier states exactly what the app does and does not send. Had it? is Tier 1: your items, notes and photos stay on your device, and leave only when you send them yourself. What the tiers mean.

Your items	Stored on the device. Names and notes are never uploaded.
Your photos	Stored in the app’s own storage on the device. They leave only if you share one.
Usage data	None. See the note below.
Purchases	Handled by Apple. We never see a payment detail.

Tier 1 permits anonymous usage counts, but the version of Had it? on the App Store today collects none, which is why the sections below say so without qualification. If that ever changes, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated in the same release that changes it — never before, and never after.

Data Collection

Had it? does not collect any personal data. There are no analytics, no crash reporting tools, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers of any kind built into the app.

Data Storage

Everything you enter into Had it? — item names, categories, notes, and photos — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage. We have no servers and no access to your data.

Photos

Photos you add to items are stored on your device only. They are never uploaded, shared, or accessed by anyone other than you.

Third Parties

Had it? contains no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or external services. The only framework that performs any network activity is Apple's own StoreKit, described in "Purchases & Payments" below.

iCloud & Sync

Had it? does not use iCloud, cloud sync, or any network service for your items, photos, or notes. Your content never leaves your device.

Purchases & Payments

Had it? is free to use. It offers a single optional, one-time in-app purchase — Had it? Plus — which removes the daily limit on adding new items:

Had it? Plus is a one-time, non-consumable purchase of $3.99 (or the local equivalent in your App Store storefront). There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
The purchase can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID via "Restore purchase".

All payment processing and restores are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We — the developer, Tidy Apps — never see your payment details, your Apple ID, your billing address, or any personally identifying information about you. We do not run servers, and no purchase-related data is sent to us.

The app uses Apple's StoreKit framework to check whether you own Had it? Plus. That check is a local API call that may, on Apple's side, talk to Apple's servers. We have no visibility into that traffic and no involvement in it beyond receiving a yes/no ownership answer from the framework.

Children's Privacy

The app collects no data from anyone, including minors under 13.
